This site has presented an overview of pressure sensitive paint and its application as an experimental measurement method. The fundamentals of PSP, along with its implementation were discussed, along with its problems and disadvantages. Some sample results were presented, demonstrating the usefulness of the PSP method as a flow visualization and pressure measurement tool. So far PSP has proven itself to be a useful tool in aerodynamic testing, and further research can only improve its capabilities and accuracy.
