Comment: This current debate is eerily reminiscent of the 1990s recession. In that instance, Congress raised taxes on "luxuries of the wealthy" like yachts causing that industry to be decimated and generating severe unemployment. Now the target is the business jet where companies like Cessna are laying off thousands of workers thanks to the government's misguided policies designed for short-term political gain at the cost of long-term economic growth. Comment: The F-35 maintained a rather large lead in this poll until the last few days when a Gripen surge was apparent. It's always suspicious when that happens...
